We really enjoy having Angie in our kitchen to cook for us. My husband and I have extremely stressed schedules. We are currently expecting our first child and want to ensure a safe pregnancy by eating as naturally as we can. Grocery shopping and preparing our foods are usually the furthest thing from our minds and we end up eating out constantly. Angie fills our kitchen with delicious provisions for the week, as well as all sorts of snacks and fresh fruits and vegetables for a well-thought balance to our individual nutrition needs. It is an amazing blessing and far better for us than our typical diet. Breakfasts and lunches are effortless to grab on the way to work, and dinners are pre-portioned and table-ready in the evenings. On top of being nourishing and healthful and all that good stuff, the food Angie prepares for us is extremely tasty. Each item came complete with sauces and toppings that really took the experience from great to over-the-top gourmet. The whole process is extremely convenient and easy for us, with the added benefit of much better nutrition and a healthier lifestyle.

I was recently introduced to Angie after inquiring about finding a great chef from Bauman College. She was recommended due to her focus in pre and postnatal diets since I was pregnant at the time. I, however, was more interested in embarking on a new and challenging diet for the treatment of my multiple sclerosis (no dairy, gluten, eggs, legumes or yeast). Although not a specialist in this field, Angie has taken a remarkable interest in learning about MS, reading books, websites, testing recipes and has been invaluable in my conversion to this diet. She comes up with creative menus packed with tons of healthy foods that I have never even heard of. She has made eating this diet, although difficult, completely doable and even enjoyable. Thanks to her help I am feeling very well. And despite the postnatal period being the highest risk time for MS flares, I have not suffered from any since having my second child almost 3 months ago.

With my baby’s due date quickly approaching I received a gift certificate as a baby shower gift for Angie’s services and scheduled her to come out and cook for my family after we brought our new daughter home from the hospital. It was such a treat having her come in and prepare home cooked meals from scratch that we could easily enjoy for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks throughout the day (especially the spiced chocolate pots de creme!!!!). I love the fact that everything she prepared was so fresh and healthy and she really took the time to understand the foods that we really liked so she could integrate those into our meal plan. I felt so good eating all of the dishes and being a new mom also appreciated the storage of the foods that made it easy for me to grab when I had a moment to spare. Lastly, I loved that Fiona (my daughter) benefited from the healthy food too and I took comfort in the fact that Angie had integrated a mix of foods that would provide us with the increased nutrient needs for breastfeeding!

After having our 2nd child, friends gave us the gift of a cook day with Angie. It is easily the BEST gift we received! Not only did it remove the stress of cooking, but we had delicious food for weeks. A roasted vegetable lasagna was one of our favorites – and the cashew-macadamia nut butter is not to be missed.
